Dr Malini is the founder of The Epic Study Centre and is presently engaged in the research of Indian Epics.

The great epic Ramayana is an extensive source of knowledge in various aspects of life like spiritual, political, administrative, diplomacy, struggle of life, social science, bioscience or environmental science, commerce, etc. So a deep research on the Ramayana is very much needed to strengthen the granary of Indian literature by the researchers with new findings.

Book Release – 'Bideh Nandini' by Dr. Malini

Dr. Neelima alias Dr. Malini has publised her latest book Bideh Nandini which was released in an inguration function in Guwahati, Assam (India) on the 8th of November 2009. The book was published by Purbanchal Prakashan and officially released by Shri Homen Borgohain, Assam's noted writer, Ex President of Assam Sahitya Sabha and Ex-Editor of Amar Asom.

Dr. Neelima Saikia visted China during September 2005 for presenting a research paper entitled "Accumulation of metal content in plants grown in crude oil contaminated soil.", held at the University of Beijing, China.
